A question from one of our readers:
My daughter is now 4 weeks old tomorrow. Since week 1 she has had lime green or dark green stool. I have been talking to a lactation consultant. We thought it was an fore/hindmilk imbalance. We did block feedings and they remained green. The only medicine I was taking was prenatal vitamin and aldomet for blood pressure. We stopped the prenatal vitamin thinking maybe it was the iron also. I ended up having gallstones and had my gallbladder removed. We had to supplement 3 bottles of formula during the post surgery. After her poops were more yellowish/formula like.
